How We Partner
Nut Butter Contract Manufacturing in Afghanistan
Nut Butter Contract Manufacturing at Walmond Foods gives your brand a certified production line in Kabul without the capital cost of building one. We process the raw nuts, develop the formulation, run the batch, and hand over export-ready pallets with the documentation your buyer or customs broker expects.
What we produce
Single-origin almond, pistachio and saffron nut butters, plus custom dry-fruit blends. Wild pistachios, Kagzi almonds and Herati saffron come from Afghan family farms we buy from directly, so the ingredient story on your label is traceable back to the orchard rather than to a commodity trader.
Minimum order and lead time
Volumes are agreed per programme, from an initial pilot run through to full container loads. A typical programme runs eight weeks: week one for the brief and specification, weeks two and three for formulation and pilot samples, weeks four to six for the production run, and weeks seven and eight for export and delivery. Shipping is FOB Kabul or CIF to your warehouse.
Certification and quality control
The facility is FDA-registered and HACCP-ready. Every lot ships with a certificate of analysis, batch-level QC records and full traceability to the origin farm. There is no palm oil, no refined sugar and no preservatives in anything we produce, so clean-label is the starting point rather than a premium tier you pay extra for.
Starting a project
Send your product specification, target market and volume to sales@walmondfoods.com. We sign an NDA on request, return a costed proposal, and ship physical samples with complete spec sheets before you commit to a production run. Nut Butter Contract Manufacturing enquiries are answered by the team that runs the line.
Private label and white label
If you want the recipe and the jar under your own brand, we handle labelling and packaging in-house: your artwork, your net weights, your barcode. Export paperwork, customs support and shipment tracking are included in every programme, and the same quality controls apply whether the jar carries our name or yours.
Why brands manufacture with us
Most contract manufacturers buy their raw material on the open market, which means the nut in your jar changes with whatever was cheapest that quarter. We buy directly from the farms that grow the cultivars we use, so the flavour and texture your customers taste in the first production run is the same one they taste two years later. That consistency is the thing brands find hardest to buy elsewhere.
Documentation you can hand to a buyer
Retail and distribution buyers increasingly ask for more than a spec sheet. Every programme includes ingredient and allergen declarations, batch-level quality records, a certificate of analysis per lot, and traceability back to the origin farm. If your customer runs an audit, the paperwork exists before they ask for it rather than being assembled afterwards.

Choosing a manufacturing partner
The question worth asking any co-manufacturer is where the raw material comes from and whether they can prove it. In Nut Butter Contract Manufacturing, the supplier who cannot name the farms behind a lot is buying on the open market, which means the product in your jar changes with whatever was cheapest that quarter.
What happens after launch
Repeat production runs are scheduled against your forecast, and we hold specification records so the second batch matches the first. Ongoing Nut Butter Contract Manufacturing works best when we know your seasonal peaks early enough to secure the right crop.
